The activities of TKP are entrenched in the word and the will of God. Below are the ABC of the reasons behind our missionary endeavours.
A command. To go to TOGO and every country and nations the LORD enables us to go is not a youthful adventure but a fruitful obedience to a faithful MASTER. Mark 16.15ff, Act 1.8
Believers are under a mandate to raise disciples for JESUS. Matt. 28.20ff
Church Planting is not an optional extra but a duty. Mal. 1.11
Demonstrating Christ’s love practically. 1st John 3.16. Community Development & all-round transformation will make our preaching relevant. Luke 4.18
Ecumenical impact: These outreaches promote the unity of the Body of Christ. For instance, you often find a brother from Baptist serving the Lord with a brother from Winners’ Chapel. A sister from Redeemed Christian Church of God could be paired with another sister from Deeper Life during our outreaches. When we embark on soul-winning, you may find an elder from Christ Apostolic Church walking side by side with a priest from Anglican Communion. John 17.21
Finishing the Great Commission will involve innovations. These innovations however will work when we depend absolutely on GOD for the outpouring of HIS Spirit on us. 2nd Peter 3.9, Rom 1.16
“Go into all the world” means that we should deploy missionaries to all the nooks and crannies of the globe. Mark 16.15
Humility is best demonstrated when we stoop down to serve among the unreached peoples.
Intercession for Missions is imperative if we want to see HIS Kingdom come and HIS will done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 9.38
JESUS CHRIST is our perfect example. We learn from HIM the need for continuous mobilization of labourers for the harvest work. Matthew 20.1ff
